As a Territory Account Manager, you will be challenged with maximizing revenue potential of McAfee products and solutions as high touch sales through development and management of end customer opportunities and managing the overall territory performance. Creating Account plans are needed as high touch sales. Our key partners will be managed centrally but it’s expected you will work closely with the opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets within a specified territory
  • Focus on growing new business within legacy accounts through up-sell and cross-sell
  • Develop, maintain and implement account plans and opportunity plans
  • Managing your own time and attend team meetings & account reviews
  • Engage McAfee senior execs where required within assigned territory
  • Work in conjunction with internal sales team
  • Leverage product and technical specialists
  • Track, forecast and co-ordinate and report on sales opportunities
  • End user opportunity development - Identify and develop successful long-term opportunities alongside managed partners to grow new business for McAfee
  • Be a Champion for specific, identified products to win market share for those products

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

  • You must have experience of High Touch Sales with direct selling or in-direct selling of software networking solutions, preferably in the security sector
  • A track record of bringing in new customers and logo’s and the ability to expand our presence in existing accounts
  • Demonstrable track record in managing high value sales transactions
  • Must have excellent sales, negotiation, influential selling skills and C-Level relationship building skills
  • Experience in sales of security and network infrastructure products of e.g. CheckPoint, Cisco, Juniper or similar
  • Knowledge in WAN and LAN architecture, general understanding of switching and routing and networking overall
  • Relationship with key person of our key accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of Network Security products and relevant security risks
  • Experience in selling through a channel model is also important
  • Understands the market issues and trends affecting business and use of IT
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with a determined attitude to succeed
